【Starting September 25 (Friday)】Mount Tsurugi & Raicho Kumiko Workshops
The season has arrived when you can truly experience the beauty of Tateyama in autumn.
As you enjoy the colors and atmosphere of autumn in Toyama, why not take part in an autumn-limited Kumiko workshop inspired by the Tateyama mountain range?
Starting Friday, September 25, we will be offering two special workshops featuring Mount Tsurugi and the Japanese rock ptarmigan (Raicho).
Whether as a special memory of your trip to Toyama or a thoughtful gift for someone dear to you, why not create something with your own hands while experiencing the warmth of natural wood?
● Mount Tsurugi Kumiko Workshop
This Kumiko screen is inspired by Mount Tsurugi, one of Toyama’s most iconic mountains.
Just as you climb a mountain one step at a time, you will gradually create the shape of the mountain by assembling each small wooden piece, one by one.
As you imagine the mountains of Toyama, enjoy the process of building your very own Mount Tsurugi.

● Raicho Kumiko Workshop
The Japanese rock ptarmigan (Raicho) is an iconic bird of Toyama that inhabits the Tateyama mountain range.
This Kumiko design captures the bird’s charming, fluffy appearance as it looks in winter.
Choose your favorite types of wood and decorative pieces, then freely combine them to create your very own one-of-a-kind Raicho.

Why not experience the landscapes and culture unique to Toyama through Kumiko, a traditional Japanese woodworking craft?
This autumn, come and enjoy a hands-on creative experience that can only be found at Kumikoza.
Reservations are already open.
We look forward to welcoming you to our autumn-limited Kumiko workshops.
